The early years of childhood form the foundation for lifelong learning, behaviour, and well-being. e school follows a combination of progressive Montessori and traditional curriculum which is age appropriate and uses English as the medium of instruction. Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) are today acknowledged as a crucial input and as a foundation for lifelong development. In our country it is also essential to realise the goal of Universal Elementary Education. Research has shown that the first six years of life are critical and it is necessary to optimise development at this stage. A common basic curriculum for the young child must be developmentally appropriate and activity – based, with equitable quality for diverse environments

Our project-based learning approach encourages children to explore real-world concepts and solve problems through hands-on activities. This method develops critical thinking, teamwork, and creativity. Children work on long-term projects that integrate multiple subjects, promoting curiosity and a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Our blended literacy approach combines whole language and phonics instruction elements. Children are encouraged to explore reading and writing through context-based learning, phonemic awareness, and storytelling. This approach ensures that each child builds a strong foundation in language skills, fostering comprehension and decoding abilities.

We incorporate Montessori’s practical life exercises (EPL) to enhance fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, focus, and attention. These activities help children develop the physical and cognitive skills needed for more complex tasks. The repetition of these exercises builds independence, concentration, and self-confidence.

We emphasise learning through direct experience. Our curriculum aims to engage all the senses, offering children opportunities to touch, feel, explore, and experiment with the world around them. Hands-on learning activities like arts and crafts, building, role-playing, and outdoor exploration make learning fun and meaningful.

Our kindergarten curriculum follows the XSEED program, which aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP). This curriculum emphasises experiential learning, critical thinking, and creativity, ensuring our children are well-prepared for future academic success. XSEED’s child-centred approach encourages active participation and fosters a love for learning from an early age.
